Leadership
DomainGuard's leadership team has over three decades of combined technical security experience.
In a security world built on zero trust, three pen-testers built one hundred percent trust in each other. Michael mentored Erkin and Zac in the trenches of offensive security; over more than a decade, mentorship grew into lasting friendship. Since 2021, that friendship has become a shared mission: defending America's most-recognized brands from the same attacks the three of them once specialized in launching.
From building out red teams used to break into America's most secure organizations to building highly scalable detection solutions.

Erkin Djindjiev
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Erkin started as a penetration tester in 2014 under Michael's mentorship, then shifted into detection engineering and scalable logging and monitoring solutions before founding DomainGuard.
Combining his knowledge as an attacker with his passion as a coder enabled Erkin to implement the first version of DomainGuard, a platform built to detect the very same phishing methods he once used when hired as an attacker.
A proper defense can only be architected after demonstrating excellence in offense.

Michael Sviben
Cofounder & Chief Operations Officer
Michael's strength is building out red teams and penetration testing practices. He has stood up many teams and mentored countless penetration testers breaking into the industry.
Combined with deep experience as a security product evaluator, that background was instrumental in shaping the DomainGuard platform.
At DomainGuard, we understand the threats because that's what we do; we want to defend, because that's who we are.

Zac Davis
Chief Revenue Officer
Zac started his career as a penetration tester before moving into entrepreneurship and business development, accumulating over 12 years of hands-on experience in offensive security and red teaming along the way.
At DomainGuard, Zac serves as Chief Revenue Officer, where he draws on his track record of launching ventures, driving revenue growth, and scaling high-performing teams.
You can't fight what you can't see, so we built a platform that sees everything.
An owl in the shape of a shield.
In ancient times and across many cultures, owls were revered and associated with protection, wisdom, and prophecy. Owls have extraordinary vision, especially at night. We chose an owl as our mascot because these traits are synonymous with the protection we offer.
DomainGuard continuously monitors your domain, even at night when threat actors are working in other time zones. The prophetic nature of our monitoring allows your organization to identify potential threats before they strike. Damn Good Brand created our logo and advises us on our brand.

Certified Experts
Our employees hold industry-standard certifications and are based entirely out of the United States.
Intuitive Platform
A system for hackers, built by hackers. An intuitive platform with no false positives and no alert fatigue.
Built in Philly. Trusted across industries.
Our team built their careers in the greater Philadelphia area, running offensive security engagements against the region's banks, hospitals, and manufacturers for over a decade. Today, DomainGuard is the only external monitoring provider in greater the Philly area.
That regional depth is the foundation. The rest is breadth: more than ten years of penetration testing across every industry that matters, with cross-industry pattern recognition that lets us spot threats in one sector before they hit another.
